Johanne Bacheron
Welcome to my website !
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Turin.
I hold a PhD in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). My thesis, titled Gender inequalities on the labour market and at home; paternity leave, childcare, and labour market concentration, focused on interrelated dimensions of gender inequalities in the workplace and in the private sphere.
During my PhD, I visited the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality of the University of Bocconi, and the University of Konstanz.
My research interests encompass labour, gender and family economics. More broadly, I am interested in applying microeconomics methods to study inequalities and individuals’ behaviour and well-being.
